Croydon Renewal: Cabinet for All of Croydon
It was the honour of my life this evening to be sworn in as Leader of Croydon Council.
As part of Croydon’s Renewal Plan I am proud to reveal my Cabinet for All of Croydon who, for the next 18 months, will be working tirelessly to address Croydon’s financial challenges.
This cabinet is Croydon’s first to represent the true diversity of our Borough. Over 70% of cabinet members are from Black and Asian backgrounds and 50% are women.
Croydon Labour is the only party for All of Croydon.
Both Muhammad Ali and David Wood have excelled as deputies and I’d like to welcome them to the Cabinet.
I would like to thank departing Cabinet Members Stuart Collins, Alison Butler and Paul Scott for their dedicated work for our Borough over the last years.
