Tackle Anti Social Behaviour at Thornton Heath Pond NOW!

We the undersigned support the campaign by our local Labour councillors for West Thornton – Janet Campbell, Stuart King and Chrishni Reshekaron – and join them in demanding the inclusion of Thornton Heath Pond in the proposed Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) for Thornton Heath.

We are aware of regular and ongoing incidents of anti-social behaviour taking place at the Pond, including intimidating behaviour, drunkenness and disorder and urinating in public. Including the Pond in the PSPO area will be an important way to allow the police to tackle anti-social behaviour. We therefore call on Conservative-controlled Croydon Council and its Executive Mayor to add the Pond to the proposed PSPO.
